Created by our family team in Cleator Moor, West Cumbria, each of the 24 doors reveals a soy wax melt that takes you on a sensory trip around our favourite Cumbrian landscapes, along with some special Welsh destinations.
And guess what? Your purchase has a purpose. For every Advent Calendar sold, £1 goes straight to the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team to help them continue their incredible work.
Behind every door is a unique scent that holds a piece of our story. Simply place the day's wax melt into your melter and let the inviting aroma fill your space.
Expect each melt to last around 10 hours, depending on the wax melter used. That's a potential 240 hours of aromatic delight packed into each calendar!

Supporting an amazing cause, Golden Wax Melts, new scents & more!
This isn't just an advent calendar but a mission in support of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. For every calendar sold we will donate £1 directly to support the team's essential work.
Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team has been assisting people in the western fells of the Lake District for over 50 years. They cover England’s highest mountain, Scafell Pike, and respond to over one hundred calls for help each year. The team consists of approximately forty ‘professional volunteers’ who give their time to help those in need. As a charity they are totally reliant on donations for funding and providing a free 24 hour public service, 365 days per year – whatever the weather!
Are you ready for the hunt? Five specially crafted Golden Wax Melts are concealed within this year's calendars.
For those fortunate enough to discover one, expect even bigger and better rewards than last year. Winners will be invited, along with up to 3 friends and family, to come and enjoy an exclusive candle-making session at our Cleator Moor workshops. You will learn about candle making and scent creation and then craft your own candles and wax melts. Additionally, winners will be treated to a bountiful hamper brimming with Lakeland Lights goodies. A prize worth over £500!
The winners will also get a tour of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team base near Gosforth in Cumbria. Tour will be subject to separate arrangement and dependent on their availability due to call-outs.
This year's calendar isn't just about discovering daily scents; it's a quest leading you on a journey through each day of December. You'll be opening doors and unveiling scents with illustrated tools behind each one leading you to discover a brand-new Lakeland Lights Co. fragrance. On Christmas Eve, behind the final door, awaits a scent that will officially join our collection in February 2024.
Each calendar provides a guide where you can jot down your thoughts on each scent. It's a space to capture your favourites and share insights with fellow scent enthusiasts.
