Return & Refund Policy

Thanks for shopping with Lakeland Lights Company Ltd.

We want you to be happy with your order. If you need to return an item, please read the information below before sending anything back to us.

Returns

If you have bought from us online, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling.

After telling us that you wish to cancel or return an item, you must send the goods back to us within 14 days.

To be eligible for a refund, returned items must be unused, unlit, in their original packaging and in the same condition as when you received them.

Please note that candles, wax melts and home fragrance products cannot be returned once they have been used, lit, damaged or handled beyond what would reasonably be needed to inspect them.

Your item must include proof of purchase, such as your order number or receipt.

Important: We cannot refund goods that arrive back damaged due to inadequate return packaging. Please package your return carefully. We recommend re-using the original packaging where possible and using a tracked service or keeping proof of postage.

Return postage is the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty, damaged or incorrect.

Original delivery charges are not refunded for part-order returns.

If you cancel and return your full online order within the statutory cancellation period, and you paid for delivery, we will refund the cost of our standard delivery option only. Any upgraded or express delivery charge above our standard delivery cost will not be refunded.

If your order qualified for free delivery, there is no original delivery charge to refund.

Refunds

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it to check that it meets the conditions of this policy.

Where a refund is due, it will be made back to your original payment method within 14 days of us receiving the returned goods.

For part-order returns, any refund will reflect discounts, offers, or promotions applied to the original order.

We reserve the right to refuse or reduce a refund where returned goods have been used, lit, damaged, returned incomplete, or handled beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect them.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If your order arrives faulty, damaged, or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photos of the issue so we can put it right.

Cancellation Policy

Some items in our store may be offered to you as a subscription, a pre-order or try before you buy. This cancellation policy lays out how you can change or cancel these kinds of purchases.

Subscriptions
When you purchase a subscription you'll receive repeat deliveries. These are based on the subscription duration and frequency that you select.

Your payment details will be stored securely and you'll be charged for each of these deliveries, unless you choose to pay in advance. Some subscriptions may auto-renew at the end of their duration. If you don't want to renew a subscription you can cancel it. If you want to cancel or change your subscription, you can do it at any time. Your order confirmation emails have links to your order. You can manage your subscription from there.

Pre-orders

When you purchase a pre-order, you are buying a product that is not yet available for immediate dispatch. We take full payment at checkout to secure your order.

Pre-orders can be cancelled for a full refund at any time before dispatch. Once your order has been dispatched, our standard returns policy applies.
