BEHIND THE 24 DOORS
Every door opens a different place. Behind each one is a melt in a scent from our candle range, named for the fells, lakes, coastlines and places we know and love. A new place fills your house every day through December and by Christmas you'll know which ones are yours.
Each melt gives up to 10 hours of fragrance in your melter, over 240 hours across the full set.
No melter at home? Choose the £45 option and a white ceramic melter arrives with your calendar, ready for 1st December.
3 GOLDEN WAX MELTS ARE HIDDEN THIS YEAR
Three of this year's calendars contain a Golden Wax Melt. Find one and you've won a candle making workshop for two at our West Cumbria workshops, plus a collection of Lakeland Lights candles to take home. Full terms here.
EVERY CHAPTER STARTS HERE
December fills up fast. This is one part of it that stays yours.
The design holds a story: candle making told across five chapters, from the first fires of prehistory to the soy wax hand-poured in Cleator Moor today. The full timeline is printed inside your calendar, with the five era patterns running in bands along the spine.
The final chapter ends in 2019, in a workshop in West Cumbria.
The next page is your December.

DELIVERY & ORDER INFORMATION
WHEN WILL MY ORDER BE SENT?
Orders placed now are expected to go out within two weeks. Everything is sent in the order it was received. Your likely dispatch week is on our shipping dates blog, which we keep updated.
We’re working through the orders as quickly as we can, first getting back to sending orders out within 5 days and then to our usual 1 to 3 days.
Every order arrives in plenty of time for Advent and Christmas. Dates are estimates and may change if required. We will keep customers updated if anything changes. For local delivery and workshop collection, you choose your date when you order.
WHAT IF I ORDER OTHER PRODUCTS AT THE SAME TIME?
Any other candles, wax melts or products within the same order will be held and sent with your Advent Calendar order in one parcel.
If you need those items sooner, please place them as a separate order.
WHAT DELIVERY OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
Royal Mail Tracked 48 is £3.95 and DPD is £5.95. Orders over £35 qualify for free Royal Mail Tracked 48 delivery, or you can upgrade to DPD for £2.
Eligible local delivery and free workshop collection options will be shown at checkout. Each delivery address requires a separate order.
Please see our full delivery information for more information and international orders.
WHAT IF I DON'T HAVE A WAX MELTER?
The melts need a melter to release their scent. Choose the £45 option and our white ceramic melter arrives with your calendar, ready for 1st December. It has a removable dish for easy cleaning and it's the one we use at home.
HOW DO THE EARLY-ORDER GIFTS WORK?
Update 12:51pm 12th August 2026 - All free gifts have been claimed
The first 100 Advent Calendar orders receive a free pack of Borrowdale wax melts, worth £7.50. The first 50 Christmas Candle Collection orders receive a free large Borrowdale candle, worth £24.
We will add the gift to eligible orders ourselves, so it will not appear in your cart. Gifts are first come, first served and limited to one per product per order.
If you order both products and qualify for both gifts, we will add both. Your gift will be sent with the rest of your order.
CAN I USE MY MYSTERY DISCOUNT?
The Mystery Discount does not apply to The Advent Calendar or The Christmas Candle Collection. It can still be used on other eligible products within the same order.
Keeping these two limited-run products outside the offer helps us keep The Advent Calendar at £32 and The Christmas Candle Collection at £99, the same price as last year.
WHEN IS PAYMENT TAKEN?
Payment is taken in full when the order is placed.
CAN I PAY WITH KLARNA?
Yes. Klarna is available at checkout as normal. Your Klarna payment schedule starts when you place your order, not when it ships.
CAN I CANCEL OR CHANGE MY ORDER?
Yes. Please contact us as soon as possible. We can update your delivery address or cancel your order before it has been dispatched.
