We are absolutely thrilled (and a tad nervous) to share a significant milestone in our Lakeland Lights journey. Our passion for capturing the spirit of locations in our signature candles has taken us on a new journey to North Wales, a region that's close to our hearts. So without further ado, it's time to unveil our new Cymru Collection - our homage to the breathtaking landscapes and rich history of North Wales!

Why North Wales?

You might be wondering why North Wales? Well, this region is not just a new location for our candles; it's a place close to Jo's heart. With family ties in Y Felinheli and the stunning Isle of Anglesey, creating a collection for this part of the world has been something we’ve been planning since we first started making candles in 2019.

5 New Scents

In our new collection, you'll find five unique scents, each inspired by the distinct culture and picturesque views of North Wales. From the majestic Castell Caernarfon in our new Castle Range to the saintly Ynys Llanddwyn (Llanddwyn Island), we've poured our love for North Wales into each and every candle.

Here's a quick look at our new scents:

Yr Wyddfa

Inspired by the rare Snowdon lily, this scent harmoniously blends lily and rose with hints of bergamot and fruit, rooted in an amber-infused woodland base. It's a tribute to the awe-inspiring mountain scenery of Eryri.

Ynys Llanddwyn

This romantic blend pays homage to Dwynwen, the Welsh saint of love, with notes of tea rose and darjeeling, a citrusy hint, a floral heart, and a base of gentle white musk. A tribute to the stories of love interwoven with the island's history.

Llandudno

Evoking sunny seaside breakfasts in Llandudno, this fragrance combines tangy citrus and crisp apple with a touch of spice, all resting on a base of warm sandalwood. It's the essence of serene mornings, complete with a whiff of marmalade on toast.

Our Castle Range

Castell Conwy: Combining sweet, soothing honey with exotic spices, hints of wood and sandalwood, all on an amber and patchouli base. It's a nod to the historic charm and warmth of the castle town as well as its traditional Honey Fair.

Castell Caernarfon: A majestic scent mirroring the royal splendour of Caernarfon Castle, with notes of lemon and bergamot, a heart of rosemary-pine, and a deep base of cedarwood and amber. It's a sensory stroll through time and tales of the castle's grandeur.
