Introducing Our 2023 Advent Calendar: Search & Rescue
It's that time of year again, and we're proud to present our 2023 Advent Calendar, filled with 24 unique scented soy wax melts. Each melt is a nod to our favourite spots in Cumbria and a few special ones from our new Welsh range. Join us on a Search and Rescue mission in the run up to Christmas to gather the tools needed to reveal a new addition to the Lakeland Lights Co range behind door 24.
Supporting Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team
Every calendar we sell has a purpose beyond just the delightful scents. For each one sold, we're donating £1 directly to the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team. They've been assisting people in the western fells of the Lake District for over 50 years. Their bravery and dedication is something we were keen to support, especially as they are experiencing one of their busiest ever years.
Golden Wax Melts are Back!
Are you ready for the hunt? Five specially crafted Golden Wax Melts are concealed within this year's calendars, inspired by Golden Tickets from childhood tales.
For those fortunate enough to discover one, expect even bigger and better rewards than last year. Winners will be invited, along with up to 3 friends and family, to come and enjoy an exclusive candle-making session at our Cleator Moor workshops. You will learn about candle making and scent creation and then craft your own candles and wax melts. Additionally, winners will be treated to a hamper brimming with Lakeland Lights goodies. A prize worth over £500!
The winners will also get a tour of the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team base near Gosforth in Cumbria. Tour will be subject to separate arrangement and dependent on their availability due to call-outs.
A Special Scent Awaits
Each day you will discover a new scent and a tool behind each door in the lead up to Christmas Eve, where you'll open the final door and discover a brand-new scent. This fragrance will officially become part of our collection in February 2024. It's our way of giving you a sneak peek into what's next for Lakeland Lights Co.
Your Own Scent Diary
With the calendar, we're also giving you a Scent Log Book. It's a space for you to jot down your thoughts on each day's scent. Maybe you'll find a new favourite or two. This proved really popular last year with people sharing their favourites with friends and family and it's a great way to remember which one's you enjoyed when you come to order your favourite candles in the future.
